Stamping is the operation carried out through a tool called die consisting in a punch (male) and a matrix (female) set in a press.
These dies allow to perform just one operation in every hit of the ram, they are of low productivity and it’s generally necessary using other dies to be able to finish a part and consider it as finished.
These tools allow taking advantage of the force applied by the ram doing two or more operations in every hit and speeding up the process.
These dies have different stages or steps, each modifies the material in a determined sequence stablished by the designer (cutting sequence), in such way that a finished part or parts are obtained at the end.
From 22 tons up to 105 tons including automatic feeding system for progressive dies.
